Top 10 Shoes of All Time

After a couple of days of creation, I believe that it is time to create an opinion  based list regarding my top 10 favorite sneakers I have seen in my life. Here it is:

10.  Air Jordan 6's

This shoe first dropped into the sneaker scene in 1991, after MJ had been in the league for seven years and had a ring. The inspiration for this design is after a Porsche, which I think makes the shoe look very eloquent and eye popping. With sick color ways like the carmine 6's, Olympic 6's, and the og colorway, this sneaker will remain a favorite in the sneaker community for a very long time.

9. Nike Air Max 90's

This is definitely one of my favorite running shoes of all time. Not only can they function as quality running shoe, but the design on them is very eye popping. With the crazy amount of different colorways and the lower prices compared to those of the retroized Jordan's, this shoe has been very popular since its release over 20 years ago.

8. Reebok  Pumps

In 1989, this shoe came to life on the hardwood floors of the NBA. With players like Dominique Wilkins and Dee Brown endorsing the shoes, these shoes began to skyrocket in popularity. The coolest thing about these shoes is the pump to fit technology instilled into them, allowing you too adjust how the shoe fits by simply pressing on a basketball shaped pump located on the tongue of the shoe. With am abundance of different colorways and different styles like  the twilight zones, omni lights, pump court victories, pump fury's and more, this is definitely one of my favorites of all time.

7. Air Jordan 5's

This shoe is iconic in many ways. It was the first shoe in the Nike Jordan series to feature an uber cool " icy" or transparent  sole.  It was also the first shoe in the Jordan series to feature a lace lock on the laces. What really puts this shoe in a league of its own are the masterful  color ways you can find these shoes in, such as the grapes, fire reds, laney's, raging bull's, metallic black's and more. This shoe has been a personal favorite of mine and sneaker heads every where once we saw Michael explode for 69 points back in 1990.

6. Nike Lebron 9's

This shoe represents the future of Nike performance basketball shoes. This shoe was first released back in November of last year and was worn by the athletic phenom and 2011 - 2012 NBA MVP Lebron James. Featuring a unique 180 air bubble, every step you take in this shoe feels like your walking on air. The modern, clean design of this shoe as well as the sweet colorways it has to offer makes it a favorite among sneaker heads alike in only its first year of existence.

5. Nike Griffey 1's

As the name implies, the Griffey One shoes are the signature shoes of the long time slugger and future hall of Farmer Ken Griffey Junior. When I first saw this shoe, the aspect about them that really caught my eyes was the crazy design they have that made me fall in love with them instantly. The large nike swoosh extending out from the toe box of the shoe is a key feature of it and is unique to nike griffey shoes. Even though the colorways of this shoe are more limited than others, this shoe is still one of my all time faves.

4. Reebok Shaq Attaq 1's

Did you think I was just going to make this list a Nike fest? No way. Even though Reebok may not be a great rival to Nike today in shoe sales, Reebok had some of the sweetest kicks back in the day. One of these classics was Shaq's first signature shoe: The shaq attaq. Fitted with an eye catching design and Reebok's iconic pump technology, this shoe just looks ridiculously amazing. Even though this shoe came in only two colorways, that didn't stop sneaker heads from copping them. Today you will be lucky to get a pair, as they are extremely rare and hard to find in impeccable condition.

3. Air Jordan 3's

This shoe is one of the biggest icons in the shoe game today. When these first dropped in 1988, it was the first Jordan shoe to not have an actual Nike insignia on it, as well as the first Jordan shoe to feature elephant print on it. Overall, this shoe is super clean and simply put: is complete eye candy. Because of the plethora of different materials put on retroized versions of this shoe and there sick color ways ( such as the true blue's, white cements. black cements, dorenbecher's, and more), this shoe will always be my second favorite Jordan of all time.

2. Reebok The Question's

Knowing how sneaker heads are today, my top ten list probably has a lot more Reebok manufactured shoes than most. But I can't see how anyone can hate this shoe. This shoe was the first shoe in the Reebok Allen Iverson shoe series and in my opinion is the greatest shoe Reebok has ever made. With the original colorway of this shoe featuring one of the most amazing icy blue soles ever created, this shoe has the make up to be one the favorites of any shoe enthusiast. With the great colorways this shoe has to offer and the rebirth of it earlier this year, this shoe might become as popular among other shoe collectors as it is with me.

1. Air Jordan 11's

What sneaker head on the planet doesn't have this master piece of a sneaker as number 1 (or at least in there personal top 5)? This shoe is honestly just the greatest designed shoe in the history of shoe manufacturing! When these first hit the shelves in 1996 in the concord color way, they were an instant hit to the public because they featured  never seen before patent leather and an incredible icy sole. Although limited, this shoe features some of the greatest shoe colorways around, such as the breds, Concord's, and space jams. With a combination of an unreal sole, clean, futuristic design, and performance, there is no wonder why this is my and many other sneaker heads favorite shoe.
